The Old Arbat street is the unofficial centre of youth culture. You can find painters, dancers, musicians and other artists performing here. Foreigners can buy cheap souvenirs for huge money here as well. This is the place where different groups use to meet: goths, emo, hippies, rockers, punks etc. Muscovites like to have a stroll along this pedestrian street on weekends starring at artists and showing off themselves, and I’m not an exception. Today K.G., Billy and I felt free enough to take a walk on Arbat, but we didn’t expect that today is the Day of Bubbles! It’s a pity that we were dressed so casually – look at the rest of the crowd!!!
The phrase on the poster is “Let’s hug together”.
