Blossom.

Sad or not, but every good thing tend to finish – including my Cyprus vacation. I had excellent rest, got some fresh powers and am ready to go on my Diploma project.

There’s marvellous spring time on Cyprus, everything is growing and blossoming – and I tried to follow the trend :D

Well, what should I say? Awesome? Such a small word for this incredible result.

Hey this is really beautiful, Aurora. Although my preference is solid color zentai, the most appealing aspect of patterned fabric is that is can be blended to the surroundings. Once again, you and Billy have mated the costume to the environment spectacularly.

This is most evident in the closeup of your face (cypflower1.jpg, which I’m currently using as my desktop wallpaper). I didn’t expect it, but this has become one of my all-time favorite images you’ve posted. The things I like most about it are:

    - The placement of the graphics across the face. The green streaks across your eyes, the red around the lips, and the white nose. The yellow and red petal across your forehead almost looks like a swept-over hairstyle. Everything just blends with the contours of your face very well. I don’t know if this was intentional, but it works wonderfully.

    - The fabric looks like cotton spandex – the slight nubby texture is very cozy and inviting, and it’s only noticeable at close range.

    - The use of light and shadow in the photograph is superb. I love how your brow line gives a straight, modern appearance. The way the shadow curves across your cheek, over the bridge of your nose, and then back down the other side. The slight outline of your lips beneath the fabric looks so statuesque.

    - The focal nature of the image also draws the viewer’s eyes to all of the best parts, while still capitalizing on the color available in the off-focus background.

Please keep up the brilliance – both in your studies, and in your photography.
